Rob Roy canoe 2 Years, 5 Months ago  
on the lagoon at Warrock, a big sheep station in western Victoria in the 1880's.
There was a ship building and repair industry at several places in Victoria at the time, On the Albert Lagoon in Melbourne one of these survived builing wooden rowing skiffs and canoes till the mid 1960's. A Mr Walsh being the boat builder.
