New sailing canoe owner 7 Months, 2 Weeks ago
My I know my canoe is borderline for this site, but I'm hoping to glean some information here. I was looking for an inexpencive canoe/row boat and answered a Craigslist ad for a $200, 15ft rowboat. Much to my delight I discovered what the person wanted to get rid of was a Grumman Sport Boat with complete sail rig. I've sailed for decades and canoed for decades, just never at the same time. So I'm hoping this is close enough to a sailing canoe that I can hang out here and learn.

We'll be happy to be judgmental if you post a photo of your boat!

I'm waiting for the first good snow to take a picture. A friend has a picture of her sailboat, on the trailer, all sails full, in the middle of a cornfield. The angle of the shot make it look like she's sailing in the cornfield.

I'm waiting for the first good snow that puts 2'+ drifts in the field across from my house. A picture of the canoe sailing through the snow drifts is what I'm after.
