Benson Gray Print E-mail

Benson Gray grew up in Old Town, Maine and has always loved wooden canoes. Benson GrayHis work in the computer industry along with an interest in the history of canoes led to some interesting collaborations. With a lot of help from Dan Miller and others, Benson started a project to scan the Old Town Canoe Company catalogs that later developed into a whole set of CDs covering a variety of canoe manufacturers. He has also assisted Tim Hewitt and others to build and maintain the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association's web site. His largest project management efforts for the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association were to capture of the Old Town, Carleton, and Kennebec build records along with building an archive of the Wooden Canoe Journals.
