I agree with Ed. I'm one of those who has gone slow and and tried to avoid the SS, al loo mineeum, plastic, and nylon line. And yes, I've yet to sail her.

So far I have rigged with hemp line. Now I'm having trouble finding it, as New England Ropes no longer carry what I was using. Fortuneately, I have most of what I need.

I use typical marine lines dyed with wood dye. Got the idea from Todd's book. Works like a champ!
