An impressive spread of canvas, boatbuilding and a tale of overfishing and pollution.
Worth a watch. Not quite a sailing canoe but some of these boats have many similar characteristics being planked on top of a log keel that extends beyond the bow in a sort of waterline bowsprit. Construction similarities with Polynesian canoes I think.
