In spite of having a S&G kayak half built, I'm going to build 2 of these because of the flexibility in the shaping and the light weight for my other half. I'll build in a step for a batwing sail and a few other mods to do with stability, attachment of an outrigger/sponsons and a bit more room for my feet! These are excellent sites for instruction and the response to queries is quick. You will see how flexible the 'design' is and how adaptable to personal preferences. Hope this excites you as much as it does me. I'm going to use green ribs cut off my block, and even a modicum of driftwood where possible.
