Weather for Sailors

I am not a proponent of personally representing companies, but there are those times I have to make an exception; this is one.

Sailflow is a weather service designed for sailors. (See our 'WEATHER' tab) I use it constantly, a “Don't leave home without it,” kinda thing. When you access the Sailflow site you will note a great deal of current information, not hours-old stuff, but truly, current wind speed and direction, including gusts, temperature and barometric readings. It really is great stuff! And invaluable information for those of us who rely on accurate wind and weather data.

This screenshot was printed off my computer, so it's not nearly as clear as what you'll get when you access the Sailflow site, but it work for these purposes. You'll note in the upper part the map of your general area with data to the right. Below that is your wind speed and direction graph.

Like I said, it's unusual for me to promote a company's product, but this is one that I use and I believe you'll get a lot of use out of. If you want to be a Sail Flow member, click www.sailflow.com/csmag and you'll see the different membership levels and services they offer. I joined, and it's made, and saved, a lot of sailing days for me.
